The challenge
Building for myself meant turning a broad mix of design, development and marketing experience into a coherent public presence while keeping the experience fast and maintainable.
The approach
The project used semantic HTML, custom CSS and vanilla JavaScript, with responsive layouts, scroll interactions and multilingual content. It was deliberately built without a front-end framework or build dependency.
What it shows
More than a final brand statement, this archived version documents an earlier visual language and a hands-on static build — a useful contrast with the current Lucas Kirsten website and the direction my work has taken since.
